Welcome to the Nebraska Balloon Club
The Nebraska Balloon Club is organized to provide entertainment, pleasure, and recreation to members of the Club who share a common interest in ballooning, through association with one another. The NBC also strives to encourage safety in the sport of ballooning, to increase communication, and to promote the spirit of ballooning among its members, area landowners, and the general public.

The NBC is offering a $425 full tuition scholarship to the BFA Junior Balloonist Summer Camp, June 17-21, 2012 at the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa. This exciting adventure is designed for enthusiastic youth ages 13 - 18 who want to learn more about hot air balloons, crew for hot air balloons, and obtain a student or private pilot certificate.
With no applications from the general public having been received by the May 1 deadline, applications are being sought from NBC members' families by May 15. If no family members apply by May 15th, then NBC members may nominate and submit applications from any source available to them. These applications from non-family members are due by May 22nd.
